What is Wellbeing?
A holistic model of overall wellbeing encompasses supporting physical and mental health, forming positive relationships, and developing a sense of safety and security, purpose and meaning, belonging in community, and connection to the environment. All aspects of wellbeing are interconnected, expansive, and important as they impact individual and collective health.
Participants will be able to identify areas of wellbeing that they are already focused on and others that they may like to enhance.
Participants will reflect on how to incorporate behavior changes into their lives to enhance their overall wellbeing.
Participants will be able to share with one another next steps and takeaways, if they choose.
Can range from 1 - 2+ hour workshop based on needs & interests
Practicing the Art of Presence
Research by Shauna Shaprio and her colleagues show that mindful awareness combines Intention, Attention and Attitude. Through my own personal mindfulness practice and supporting others through nearly two decades of wellbeing coaching, I’ve built upon this model to also include Action and Impact because when you focus on how you want to be, it changes what you do, how you do it, and the impact that results.
Participants will learn about the Art of Presence approach then set a clear intention, focus their attention, cultivate a supportive attitude, and identify inspired actions that align with desired impact.

Intro to Mindfulness
Join us for a 4-week course to learn and practice mindfulness and meditation skills
Course Description:
This course is great for those beginning, sustaining, or rejuvenating their mindfulness practice. During this class, you will practice mindfulness and learn several skills for managing stress and enriching your life. Mindfulness is about developing the ability to be fully attentive to all the moments of your life, reducing the amount of time you spend worrying about the future or fretting about the past. An important aspect of mindfulness is developing a non-judgmental, accepting, even curious, attitude about your moment-to-moment experience. The more you develop this attitude, the less you will feel overwhelmed by changes and challenges in your life. We invite you to devote yourself to the study and practice of mindfulness over the next four weeks, and we challenge you to stay curious about what evolves for you as you persistently and patiently practice living mindfully.
Meditation Skills
In each class, you will learn one or two mindfulness-based skills through experiential practice. You’ll then apply these skills by creating or continuing your mindfulness practice and noticing what changes come as a result.
Mindfulness for Self-Care Retreat
It's our brain’s job is to think, but our thoughts often dwell on the would’ve, could’ve, and should've of the past, or worrying about the seemingly endless to-do list and worries of the future. This session offers resiliency tools that are easily implemented into life and have the potential to reduce stress, increase concentration, and improve overall wellbeing. Participants will learn and practice mindful awareness principles that are the key to embodying the benefits of mindfulness in their own lives by helping to focus attention and align intention, attitude, action, and impact. This session is great for those beginning, sustaining, or rejuvenating their mindfulness practice.
2, 4, or 6 hours depending on preferences
Reflective Practice
I know that my work focuses on caring for caregivers, supporting supporters, and helping the helpers.
Reflective practice is the process of intentionally thinking about and reflecting on one's own actions, experiences, and decisions to gain insights and learn from them, ultimately leading to personal and professional development.
The pandemic has highlighted our interconnected nature as humans striving meaning and belonging. We all long to be seen, heard, and valued and crave connection with ourselves and each other.
In the ever-changing challenges of worksites and mounting demands on time, energy, and resources, there have been impacts to our physical, mental, social, and financial wellbeing and sense of safety and security. However, we have also been creative, innovative, and resilient in the face of evolving changes as we’ve navigated the past several years.
Reflective Practice groups offer a space for processing what it’s like to be a human doing work in this world.
